Hi, we’re Jess and Steve, two travellers figuring it out as we go, currently making our way through South Korea, Japan, and wherever the next flight takes us.
This little corner of the internet exists for a few reasons. First, for the people closest to us: family and friends who want to follow along from home. We’ll be posting every couple of days, sharing where we are, what we’ve eaten, what surprised us, and what we’d do differently. Think of it as a living postcard.
It’s also a journal. Travel moves fast and memories have a way of fading. Writing things down, even imperfectly, is our way of holding onto them.
And then there’s the camera. We recently bought a Sony a6700 and arrived at this trip with almost no idea how to use it. Composition, exposure, editing, we’re learning it all from scratch. This blog is as much about that journey as it is about where we are. Some photos will be great. Some won’t. We’re sharing them anyway.
